Post by: Mr Skrunts on 12 January 2009, 23:21:14
My Elite get parked up for long periods.

As large as you can physically fit  and/or afford. Also make sure that if connecting via the cigarette lighter, that its connected to a permanent live and not ignition.

I had one of those small solar panels (about a foot long) connected to my bike in spain over the summer, and even that struggled to stay charged for more than a couple of months.

My suggestion would be to get one of the mobile home / camper / touring solar panels, and attatch it to the garage / shed roof with a long fly lead to fit into the car.
