Title: old for new display

hi i have a pre face lift and the display has some pixals missing a mate has half a dashboard in his garage with the display unit in it,but he says the display letters are a lot smaller than mine.will it fit mine? will the electric plug be the same?.thanks

Sounds like his is the half height display so no it wont fit...

You will need one of the earlier displays found up to 96 or 97 with a yello and black plug on the back...later ones have a single grey plug...

just been round to see it  and it has onley one plug hole in the back
