Title: sat nav

I  have just brought a carin system to put in to my car and I have not seen where any of the bits go could any one tell me where it all goes in the car  I know where the screen goes but other than that no ideas .

CD unit in boot (left side, near blind connection), button near handbrake (need to drill), speaker, passenger kick panel (need to drill).

Thanks Jaime I would have popped over but  I am on lates this week, what about the GPS annetna  :question

Out of pure laziness, I pop my gps just above the cd unit, just through one of the cutouts in metal shelf.

Was the donor a saloon?

I'm sure I've heard the sat-nav from the stereo in one car. Don't know what stereo it was though.

NCDC/NCDR series via stereo. Carin via seperate speaker.

Isn't that what happens on the NCDC201x ? Mine fades down the source when directions are uttered......

Just had a look at Jules guide that has helped . Although the link for the wiring guide did not work , I have no idea how to try to find it anyonr know how to find it please. Oh and the bit  I thought was the antenna a small block is that the mouse it describes ? :y

Isn't that what happens on the NCDC201x ? Mine fades down the source when directions are uttered......
Up, as per post above yours, NCDC/NCDR series via stereo

Yes, that link is now dead. We need to take some more photos when you do yours ;D

Antenna = gps = mouse = aerial. All one and the same thing.

Added some extra links to bottom of Jules' thread, should be enough to get it up and running.  The best 0v point is a large threaded stud up on a post.
