Ahhhh!

Pop the top of the cowling off, find the little flying lead from stalk, and tell me how many wires it has...

Plastic shroud around steering column, where your wipers and indicators stalks stick out from ;)

Its the plastic upper cover to the steering column, the bit to the top between the indicator and wiper stalks.  Three screws holding it in place from beneath as well as a couple staring you in the face when you rotate the steering wheel to quarter turn right/left, beneath the plastic balnking plugs.  Remove the screws, remove the shroud, and count the wires as TheBoy suggested then post back.....   :y

From what I know, there should be four (4) wires.
Gray - Red - Blue - Green.

No, only 2 wires on the 2.5 diesel cruise stalk - all other Omegas are 4 wires.

Does the 'resume' function work (same button) - seem to recall the 'decrease speed' function isn't that good on the TD

Fitted CC recently on mine. In the owners manual it says the decrease speed button is inoperative on the TD, the increase speed button does work.
