has anyone else got this model. if so does yours not play copied discs. mine only seems to play original copies bought from the shops.
-
I have it. Mine plays copied disc normally although not all seem to be working the same. It plays all of the copied ones but some of them seem to skip more easily than others.
-
it must be my cds then, i' have to get abetter quality cd i think.
thanks for the reply.

I used a couple of them, and the quality isn't what was the issue. Verbatim high quality cd-s dont work to good.
My sugestion is to try a couple of cd-s from different companies and found one that suits you best.
You should try the Philips because it is the manufacturer of the radio. And most likely their cd-s will be working best on the radio. ( I found out this with my sony stereo in my old car). So give it a try.

Be aware that using CDRs in these units (or any units fitted to Omegas - though the facelift ones seem most prone) will damage the lasers, resulting (initially) in the problem you have now.
If its any consolation, the laser will eventually stop playing pressed discs as well.

ive now overcome that problem, ive loaded up the mp3 player (not a gaypod either) so best not take the risk of rather up the lasers :y
