hi guys any idea how to do this as there is no loom in place? i have all motors and door looms installed now just need to wire them up?
any help would be great as im puzzled
-
So, when you fitted the door looms and plugged them into the B post sockets, were all the wires in the B post there?
-
Hi Mark Nope there is about 4 wires missing on the car loom running to rear doors. ive done an ex plod which plugged straight in no prob, but not much luck on this :)
-
im guessing i need a live and earth to each door and need to add the switch control wires but need to work out where to wire these to.
-
How many wires are you short on the large IDC type connector on the main control switch for the drivers door?
There should be about 20 ish
4 wires is the exact number used by the windows!
-
Well the red wire goes to fuse F35
The brown black wires connect to pin 24 on the central locking ecu
The final 2 wires from connect to the drivers door main switch.
-
thanks mark you are a star , that sounds easy enough , where about is the central locking ecu? is it the one in drivers footwell
-
Yep, behind the drives side kick panel
-
i thought all facelifts had leccy windows in the back, except x-plod.
Years ago we had a 99 plate facelift on loan, gls spec, which had leccy rear windows

right an update, red , earths , brown and black are all connected.
now i have a problem ive got the two switch ones left grey/green and blue/red but where do they go? ive connected them to the same colours on drivers door loom and the back switch operates the passenger front window? help lol ;D
-
forgot to say, if i connect the blue/red to perm live it makes the rear window go up only on its own.
