Hello. Just a bit advice regarding a possible alarm fault on my old car.
Its a 1996 Elite 3.0 auto. Ther person i sold it to called last night to say there was a high pitched sound coming from the area of the engine bay near the drivers side suspension turret.
Now whn i had the car i had the covers off when i changed that cam cover gaskets, stc. I was sure the car did no t have a powwr sounder fitted. Could anyone confirm if this ids correct please? Could you also provide any possible pointers as to what the problem may be if its not the alarm. I asked and the car has been used regularly so the likelyhood of a flat batters is low.
Many thanks, Jez

There will be a power sounder on it unless someone has removed it, I highly doubt it though as I'd say the sounder is going off :y

Thanks for that. I never noticed it when i had the car as it never gave me any grief. 8-)
