just recently, every so often when I start the car, the clock has advanced one hour, anyone any ideas why this could be????
-
Perhaps it thinks it's in mainland Europe ...... ::) :y
-
Don't know if this is also for UK versions but maybe you automatic time correction is on or try another radio channel without rds or switch of rds.
greetings
Danny

I turned RDS off this mrning, clock was correct, got in it to come home from work, hey presto, + 1 hour, someone help, I'm to old to keep losing time like this !!!
-
Model number of radio would help -
Some are updated by Radio transmission, some are updated by GPS
-
radio is a CDR2005, car is 2000 2.2 CD. it's been doing this since Sunday, I haven't reset it this time, want to see what happens
-
Does it keep incrementing by +1 hour ? ie: its now a good few hours out, or simply not changing from GMT to BST ?
-
just changes GMT to BST
-
Sounds like you may have a rougue rds transmitter nearby that has not been reset for BST ?
Try with RDS / TP / TA / REG all set to OFF and see what happens.

or tell the mid to ignore time from radio - see instruction book...

Looking at the manual for my CCRT700 it says that by pressing AS (Auto Store) till it beeps, aswell as storing the best 10 stations, will aslo automatically select RDS.
Did you have an RDS station selected before hand?

We'll forgive you, seeing as you don't own one ;D

Not sure Andy, as it's only been doing i since last Sunday, I might be something I did when cleaning it.
other than this, no problems

the clock has continued to reset itself +1 hour, no matter what I pressed, I realised an obvious and easy fix today, just set the clock an hour slow, then it auomatically catches up......simples :y :y
so far so good
