What is the life expectancy of xenon bulbs, so after how long should you change them?
-
Its not directly related to the 'burn time' of the light, its more related to the number of strikes (turn on's) as this is what truely ages the bulb.
As a result, they can last 10 years plus....dependent on how many times the lights are turned on (and hecne why they dont work to well in full beam applications)

Mine are 11yrs, I understand they do dim a little with age, so at York, wondered if you'd look and see if you think I'd benefit from new ones?
AFAIK, to use on full beam, you need a shutter mechanism, though I thought this was due to slow strike time...
