Title: Parrotts lost wires?
Post by: amba on 27 April 2009, 20:42:17
After the epic battle I had today removing/replacing the aircon expansion valve from the bulk head,I have accidentally pulled 2 wires off the connecter block on my Parrot 3100..Can anybody who has one fitted advise where these wires go back.
Large blue main junction block...white 10 pin connecter...pin number 2 has brown (line-) which is still intact.....2 wires with no homes are Yellow......Green....both thin wires with spade connecters on ends.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks VXL V6 for info...looks different from mine....the blue control box has a 10 pin connecter which with mine seems only to be using 3 wires.
The brown line- is connected to pin 2
I have a spare  Yellow  and Green wire which have become detacthed during the dash removal and don,t know which pins they now connect to....any body with this type of hands free system got a clue ?

Thanks alot for the picture,RichardH..strange thing is mine is actually different, but mine was fitted by an autoelectrician(monkey).
I managed to work out by process of elimination what goes where.
Unlike yours I only have 3 wires which have beeen removec from the plastic socket and are just spring clipped spades which push onto the pins in the blue control box.
Brown wires goes to pin 2
Green went to pin 9 and yellow went to pin 3.......but I suppose the main thing is it now seems to work again..Thanks again.

Yeah, a lot of the wires on mine don't actually go anywhere either.

RichardH....well all is working so I will leave it well alone now..all neatly hidden behind glove box undertray so lets hope it doesn,t come to bits again...anyway if it does I have put a sticker on unit explaining which wire goes where...thanks again for your help and interest
