If you have one of our modulators, you can mount them anywhere in the car - makes no difference. Personally, we tend to fit them in the rear 1/4 panels, centre armrest console, above glovebox, or under seats depending of course what we are plugging into them and what vehicles thay are going into

You can put those particular modulators wherever you like, the limited output frequency isn't going to be stopped by the odd obstacle or two.
Crosstalk & distortion levels might be another issue when you start listening properly, but I'm sure Dave can address that for you.

Lol ! I know what you mean, but if you are using a FM modulator, its because you are all out of other options - so although not ideal, a modulator is probably the best solution for retaining the original head units.

Tried a Belkin wireless sender with my portable dab radio.
Result rubbish. (didn't think forum would accept Carp!) Noisy interference, high battery consumption amongst other things.
Now got a Revo FM Modulator off the bay. Comes with Power leads and fitted stereo Phono sockets, also came with 3.5mm stero jack to twin phono lead. Will need to pull HU out yet again. Should work ok, and then i'll fit a permanent 3.5mm socket into somewhere like the tray by the head unit for ease of access
Hopefully this will help eliminate the noise I had from the Wireless.

Yes dave it is one of yours and i have to say it works very well. If only i could work out a way to fix my zune to the dash all would be well with the world :)
