would like 6.5" front and 5" rear components :y

infinity components in mine :y
and somebody elses on this site also :y
6.5 in the front doors .......... tweeters in the normal place ........ crossovers behind the armrest. ( cut away the polystreen away )
5.25 in the rear............ 18mm ish of mdf needed to pack it out ........... tweeters can be fitted about half way between the bottom of the armrest and botton of the door card :y when you tke the door card off, you will see a scored circle on the back of the card.
cut it out with a stanley knife and fit the tweeter angleing it up a bit :y
as for the back, 6.5's will go in nice or if you want more bass, 6x9's.
run the back off a small amp :y
80watts ish :y
a good trick to improve the sound without shelling out on dynomatt is when you have the covers off and old speakers out, give the inside of the door a couple of coats of underseal and make sure you reseal up any tears in the polytheen to keep down the booming affect when you turn it up :y
have fun ;D ;D
-
oops ............. no need for adapters in the front on mine :y
just make sure they are well screwed together :y
