Title: internal courtesy light

i have a problem with the overhead courtesy light, instead of dimming away, it stays on for ages then suddenly goes out. when i re-open the door the door lights don't come on till i turn the ignition, all the door switches work ok.

How long does it stay on, 10s or 10m?

probably a good 30mns, so long as i dont open the door, then it stays on another 30 mns

I'd try A N Other courtesy light first.  ;)

just had another check, it's only the drivers door that puts the light back on. opening the rear doors or the passenger door the light stays off - faulty drivers door switch ??
