Title: new door speakers fitted with great results

fitted my new alpine components into my car today front and rear . packed them out with 24mm of mdf as spacers really bassy sound now im well chuffed :D ;D :y

Did you use the ebay adapters too?
Didnt happen to make MDF templates lol!?

I also fitted mine today but bought somethng cheaper (Macaudio components) . But the adapters were not actually designed for omega so had to convert them. It was a really pain in th e.. job but I'm happy with the result

i have fitted replacement speakers in both front and rear doors of my '99 omega saloon the fronts where easy with adapters the rears where a bit more involving but i got there in the end. also have 2 12 inch subs in the boot alpine headunit very good sonic wise with good sound stage trying to decide weather to amp the front and rear speakers? they are vibe componats 6.5 front 5.25 rear

Vibe components are screaming out to be fitted to an amplifier !!

looking for a good amp to drive the vibes is driving me mad. >:( the fronts are rated at 120 watts rms and the rears 90 watts rms any ideas?????????

Look to the VIBE amplifiers, they were designed especially to run those speakers !!

made my own spacer used old door speakers as template for outer shape then cut hole big enough in middle for new speakers  :y

now added a 12" alpine sub and alpine amp :):) :y
