Just had the front bumper repaired on the tractor but the screen wash isn't working now. I wonder if the repairer disconnected something when he removed the bumper but failed to reconnect it. I can't ask him because we're in Holland for two weeks.
The fuse looks good. Where do I find the washer pump and connections? Can I easily fix this, if an electrical or water connection is missing?
Cheers

Both washer pumps (srcreen & headlamps) are a push fit into the washer bottle, it lives just behind the bumper/grille, take your grille off & it's obvious. The connector is just a single plug with two terminals that's a push fit on top of the pump! :y

Had a look this morning -- wires and pipes look good. Can't hear anything when I pull the wash/wipe switch so looks like a new pump when I get home. (Fuse 3 is the correct fuse to examine, yes?)
Noticed something else -- a loose connector hanging behind and below the bumper on the LHS. The connector is 1cm sq, with a central "prong" 2mm dia surrounded by four locating tags in a circle.
What is this?

Outside temperature sensor I would think! :y

Thanks Andy
Should the sensor be clipped somewhere, not just hanging? It may have been dislodged following a small impact (reason for bumper repair) last week.
I guess the washer pump has also been affected by the impact.

There's a hole for it to clip into somewhere, the four clips you mention hold on to the inside edge of the hole when you find it. :y

Bought a new screen wash pump today. It's wrong??? :-?
The old pump has a single outlet spigot to connect the water supply pipe
The new pump has a double outlet contraption with two spigots, one white and one black.
What's going on? Have I got the wrong pump? Or is the old superceded by this new pump? How does the new pump fit?

Have you checked the wiring to the pump is connected ? if you have found the pump you will see the loom, physicaly trace it back and make sure its connected . :y

The pump is working, I can hear it. That's not the problem.
The water connections don't match. I'll take it back to the parts dealer tomorrow to check the part number and get advice.

You have bought a pump designed for car with a rear screen ie estate or hatchback. Twin outlet pumps spin one way for the windscreen & t'other way for the rear screen. You only needed a pump with one outlet although I can't see why couldn't use the pump you've bought. :y :y :y
