Title: CCRT700 Code input
Post by: Toby on 15 June 2009, 18:54:33
Can anyone confirm how the code is entered on a CCRT700? I've tried the usual of holding AS and turning unit on. I get 'Radio Safe' displayed. I've currently left it on in the hope that someone has popped the wrong code in a few times and its in its countdown. But just in case there is a different method I thought I'd ask.

Thanks

it prompts itself.

10 goes, and its an expensive repair.  May be in a wait state, in which case you may need to leave it up to 11hrs with ign on and battery not going flat ;D

Yep, thats what I'm hoping. Its doing that atm. Ignition is in Position I, is that correct? Thats without any lights on the dash.

You say it prompts itself? Does this mean I do not need to use the press and hold AS etc procedure?

All sorted! Were 3 attempts left  :-? But luckily the code I had was the correct one!

I can now enjoy the delights of Bose!

Thanks again
