Title: kenwood ,will it work
Post by: JK on 16 June 2009, 12:01:53
Hello everyone i have another question about the ice in my 3.0 elite, i have come to the conclusion ,with the help of the forum ,that my cd multi changer is dead. I was wondering if it is possible to replace it with an after market unit ,as i have one off a car that i sold recently , it worked fine in that ,but i also want to keep the standard bose head unit, i was hoping that you can get a connection lead from the original wiring to the kenwood multi changer that i have , the model number is KDC-C469 , if this is any help--JK

There are no aftermarket changers that will work with that head unit - originals only I`m afraid.

But there are plenty on the forum, put some details up of the part numbers of your dead changer and I`m sure someone will be along with a replacement for you.

You will need some of the other numbers, not just CDC2.

There are several variants of CDC2, each dedicated to particular head units and they are not all cross compatable.

10 digit part number on the label, starting with a 7

7 ??? ??? ???

 ;)
