Title: Ignition 12v +
Post by: amba on 19 June 2009, 17:05:35
Is there an ignition switched 12v+ at the passenger kit panel, that will provide power with key in position 1 and ignition on.
I cannot pull out radio as cage is jammed solid,so need an extra feed wire for accessory, but not permenant 12v,just switched.

I think W contact is down there (12v at I, II, and at 0 if the ign has been switched to I and the key hasn't yet been removed).

You'll need to look at the wiring diags to see which on it is though!

Haynes wiring is next to useless...states..".X1.wiring connections"....and thats it,no further details.??and you need a magnifying glass to see the schemetics,so totally useless imho.

the x1 connector is behind passenger kick panel.  Not the easiest to connect to.
