As above, my CCR2006 HU (non Bose) today switched itself off, when you switch it back on it stays on for a couple seconds then off again.
Any thoughts before I start ripping the consul apart.
Thanks Chris.
update: Thinking outloud now does the HU do any start up test, tried it this morning still the same, tried the TM and the old dear gors through the licence marlarky fine, seems to come from all the speakers before shutting down after TM finished. :y

Try disconnecting the antenna feed cable, not the coax, but the 12v that turns on the rear booster

Hi Dave, its an Estate with its own Twig do you know where the booster lives (above headlinning?) what effect would this have ie what am I looking for.

Not sure where rear booster is located, but not uncommon for Vx aerial units to go dead short, and one of the side effects is that the radio shuts down instantly it switches on, as sees a short on the antenna output feed.
Not saying its the problem you have, but if a Vauxhall came into us with a head unit shutting down instantly, it would be instinctively the first thing we would check.
