Title: CDR 2005 - locked in safe mode
Post by: rickyboy on 10 July 2009, 11:21:46
Hi, I'm wondering if there is a way to get the radio unlocked without having to take it to a dealer.  I've already tried the method of pressing AS and then turning the radio on.  When the AS button is pressed it shows 0 SAFE, which I assume to mean there are no attempts left.

Can this be unlocked without having to go to the dealer and if not does anyone know how much they charge to unlock it?

Thanks in advance.

The car is a 51 plate 2.2 omega.

All of your attempts have been used up and taking it to a dealer will be of little help, as they will simply have to send it away.

However, all is not lost, as its usually my company that they will send them off to

That's great Dave and thanks for the quick reply.  The radio/car is actually a colleagues so I'll have to speak to him to see if he wants to go ahead.  Price is very reasonable so can't see why he wouldn't.

Thanks again.  :) :y
