claims to work with any vx head unit and allow any input from any device with 3.5 jack and possibly plug found on tomtoms and parrots iirc.
Personally looking for something similar with video to work with my nokia n95 8gb with video out via 3.5 jack which has tom tom, mp3 and mp4 player and also her nano....ultimlately freeview via an enabled phone(n96 currently available with mobile freeview but the serviice isnt activated in uk until 2010 and the 96 is more gay than the 95)

Will any of this work with bose???

Doesn't matter how many times you try, there is NOTHING commercially available to allow you to connect phone to CID. If you need to use CID, you will have to make something yourself. Read the datasheet, all the info is there.
Accept that and move on.
No vx radios before 2004 have aux in (other than a mono phone input). The C-IO ones bypass stereo and amp directly to speakers. Doubt they'll cope with bose speakers, and it'll tune to channel smoke.

FFS, forgive my ignorance its just that it says....
iO connect, aux input on any system
Auxillary input system with built in Class D Amplifier that drives your speakers directly.
No Aux or CD Port required on your car head unit, install using ISO connections or relevant SOT lead.
See "Installation Tip" for all possibilities, installation guidance and specification.
....was sceptical from what i have been told on here before, esp re bose....so only simple option, apart from bose removal, is a modulater via fm as said before?... :(

To be fair to IQ it will worlk on just about any STANDARD system, and as the BOSE was an optional upgrade to the VX (may appear as a standard optional extra on some models), then it is not classed as a standard system.
Modulator via FM if you have BOSE is only option if BOSE must be retained.

IQ runs a four Ohm speaker system - the BOSE speakers are 2 Ohms, and wouldd be seen by the IQ as a short circuit. This will cause it to go bang, and in some instances may be quite spectacular when it does.
