Title: Using brake switch as clutch switch
Post by: furrymunkey on 19 July 2009, 14:46:08
I'm not sure if this has already been asked but, I have a 97 Omega 2.0 CD which I have fitted cruise control into. Everything is hooked up under the bonnet and I bought the 4 pin brake switch. My local dealer wants £40 for the clutch switch so I wondered if it is at all possible to use my existing 2 pin brake switch as a clutch switch?

not safely, would have thought that would put your brake lights on.  if nothing more serious.

I meant as in unplugging my existing 2 pin brake switch and using it where the clutch switch goes.
