Delco units cannot be reliably decoded from serial number, but I can certainly reprogram them if you want to send it over to me

And unlike the codes from Vx, my Codes are Guaranteed to be correct for the Delco - 100% success over 17 years !!

Go easy TB !! The reason its often that high is that many of the Vx Dealers are sending them over to me first

i got robbed with one of the auction style decoding services by the serial number. they reckon you can get the code by entering your serial number, but i was then told the cdr500 had to be taken to a dealer.
If you decide to upgrade your best off trying to sell the old head unit. you will prob be suprissed how much you get for it without a code. :y
think i got around £40 without the code, ones with codes are usually £60+
