hi i own a 2000 3litre elite estate & find myself in trouble after first replacing the original siemens ncdc 2013 with a siemans ncdc 2015 only to be told by my local vauxhall garage that an eprom cambus error came up whilst coding radio in useing their tec 2. as my car doesn`t have cambus wiring the 2015 is not suitable for my car? I have now bought another ncdc 2013 only to find it is a siemens vdo out of a 2004 vector and having slotted it into my car today do not find the expected fault or error code prompting me to code the new radio in. Do i go back to garage for them to tec 2 in? Is the wiring different on the two 2013 radios? or is the wiring different on 2000 omega to later ones. both radios work but with no display

Lol, the 2013 and 2015 are the same unit with a different front panel.
The unit does have CAN bus between itself and the display (CID or GID).
The unit and display are also coded together so the old 2013 and display need de-pairing before the new 2015 can be fitted (this also needs to be in a divorced state).

joff & marks, thankyou for replies. Just to clarify that i have the same bose set up as joff and have been led to believe the 2015 was made for a later model including a telephone. i always knew if the radio worked, the telephone probably wouldn`t.
i am pinning my hopes on the 2013 i have bought off ebay, having it tec 2 this week. If it works i will have a surplus as new 2015!

have received email from vauxhall customer assistance today, think i may be stuffed on the replacement 2013!
Vauxhall Technical Department have advised that, unfortunately, the 2004 Vauxhall Vectra uses a Controller Area Network wiring system where as the Omega uses a different system. The Siemens NCDC vdo 2013 from the Vectra is therefore highly unlikely to be compatible with the Omega.

Where are you based, as I don't think you are getting the service you require.

sorted, seems i had a fault on my wiring loom so wasn`t getting correct display reading. Wiring & 2015 radio fixed today & working including sat nav.
