Is it a pre-facelift car on a V or a facelift?

I can't comment on the facelift, but on the pre-facelift then the wiring is in place in the boot already - a small multipin connector tucked up in the LH corner.

Just plug the connector in, plug in the switch and you are away with no fuse to plug in.

I did one to a '97 model some years ago.

My 2000 facelift had the connector, briliant upgrade. You may have to wait for a switch though, but apparently they are cheap at the stealers.

Agemo - you might want to sort out your avatar pic - it's bleeding massive in google chrome!

I had problems with the avatar, it should be fine now. That will teach me to try messing with comp type things.  :-[
