Does anyone know the best place to get the codes for my multichanger. Ever since I rebuilt the engine all ive had is lousy radio and I am due to go to london twice and scotland in the same month so would really like to listen to some cds.
Do I need to remove the changer and take it away for decoding or can it be done in situe. I wasnt given the codes when I purchased the car so have no idea.

If its original to the car then it will be on the car pass mate :y
-
Whats the car pass. Ive had a look through all the paperwork that came with the car and it aint there.
-
It's a credit card sized piece of card with all the codes printed on it. If you haven't got it then it's around the £25 mark from Vx or give DaveDND a PM, he's the radio code man :y
-
May as well get the car pass from Vaux...if you need anything programming on your car you will also need the security code which is also on the car pass aswell as your key number :y
-
Im not certain if its the original or not so the pass may not work :-/

Which CD Changer do you have?
Difficult to advise further without a model number
-
Head Unit is a Philips CCRT700 and the multichanger is a Blaupunkt. However I cannot see any codes or model numbers on this. Will have to remove from cradle to have a look and see if they are behind it if the above is insufficient!

When you have the Changer out, follow this link
