Title: No Clock Lights.
Post by: pedroMV6 on 10 October 2009, 20:06:40
After LED fail (seperate thread), I now have no clock lights - MID is fine though.
Checked fuse 15, all is well there.

Ideas?

I had the instruments out of my last Omega to get to some cables behind it. In my (unsuccessful) attempt to get it out without removing the steering wheel I must have disturbed a resistor on the printed circuit board. When I put it all back together the light on the MID wouldn't go off.

After straightening the wires on the resistor the MID started behaving itself but I had no instrument lights. Unplugging and replugging the instruments got 2/3 of the lights working. Unplugging it again and checking that all the copper contacts in the dash were straight got all the lights working so I screwed it all back together quickly before anything else stopped working :y
