Title: Interior light: Mini facelift versions
Post by: I_want_an_Omega on 17 October 2009, 18:06:28
My mini facelift has a standard interior light with a 4 pin connector.

I thought it would be good to get one from a CCRT700 car with space for the built in mic. I'd then put my Parrot mic into the space and not have it dangling so to speak.

So, I got a new light and was horrified to see that its got a 9 pin connector on it not a 4 as I was expecting.

I havn't even tried to make my 4 pin connecter plug into the 9 pin one.

Any ideas or do I try and get a bit of plug in loom from a suitable car and splice away?

Easy enough to modify, but easier if you have a short length of loom from doner ;D
