Hi everyone. Got my MV6 yesterday and it has the little Philips Sat Nav screen. I can't find the actual unit in the car.
Is this system any use and is it worth trying to find a unit and disc for it?
Thanks for any advice! :y :-*

Is it a saloon or estate?
If a saloon it will be in the boot, tucked up in the left hand corner on a bracket above the suspension mounting.
If an estate it will either be on the transmission tunnel behind the centre console or in the ceiling just inside the tailgate.
This is the factory fit position, quite a few retro fit systems get put inside the spare wheel.
There is an eject button on the front which should work. Check the connectors on the back are pushed home.

Thanks I'll go and have a look. It's an estate BTW.

No I can't find it. It's not in the ceiling. Can you explain where to look on the transmission tunnel again?

What age car is it?
If a mini facelift car it will be between the front of the rear seat and the ciggy lighter. Ut would be carpet covered with the slot on the drivers side.
I dont know where it would be in a facelift version ,,,,,,, sorry

Thanks. It's a 1999 model.

Yep, should be in front of the rear ciggy lighter, it would be carpeted so will blend in well.
If its not fitted then the little display won't light up.
Try pressing the control knob & see what happens ,,,,,,,,

1998 estate - on tunnel between rear footwells
1999 estate - rooflining nearside rear
