Title: 2001 CDX CCR2006 CD changer snags

Recently the cd changer door came "loose" (maybe a bit broken) at one end and though it played all cd's well. Yesterday the changer stopped accepting the casette, it wont go far enough in to work. All help gratefully accepted!

There is a switch that is operated by your broken flap that is needed for correct operation of the unit. As parts are no longer available for that unit, you will have to source a good flap from somewhere, and you may find that this cures your fault.

Thanks Dave for info, I have fiddled about with the door, which has been broken for a few weeks to try and see if that was the cause of the problem, but with no luck. Shame realy, I enjoyed my CD's on a long run. I had wondered if the CD player was fused seperatly which may have stopped it's operation.
