Title: Pink headlight!

My n/s zenon? headlamp on my s reg omega elite is suddenly shining a pinkish mauve colour instead of a nice bright white! Any idea's why? Cheers! :y

HIDs? Knackered bulb - it won't last much longer. Replace as pair, cheapest is egay

I thought that would be the problem. When you say replace the pair, do you mean both n/s and o/s headlights? The O/s unit is a new unit and would be reluctant to replace! Are they replaced as a complete unit? I've never had to look at them, so dont know if I need to replace bulbs or units! Thanks for your patience.

About £80 per bulb at dealers at trade.

Try car bulbs direct. They were doing the HID D2S 4,300k at £50 each over the summer. They might still have offers.

those were for good branded ones, not the cheap chinese ones.

I am running the chinese ones, they are better than 10 year old originals.....but there are better out there.

buy 4300, 5000 or 6000k ones, no higher  :y
