My heater fan broke down the other day. i have a A/C unit in my 2.0 Omega. According to the garage(the plugged theire diagnostic computer in) its either the resistor(expensive) or the fan(well expensive) that is broken.
What i would like to know.
1 : How do i controll which it is?
2 : How do i access fan / resistor.
Typical, it breaks now when it really starting to get cold :S

Welcome to the melee. ;D ;D ;D
I'd be going for a 'new-to-you' fan assembly. I'm sure that one of the many breaker here would be able to sort you out quite cheaply.
The cause of your problems is likelyto be water from the blocked scuttle drain finding its way into the car and filling the fan on its way. Look down where you pollen filter is & you'll probably find a lake down there. Prod it out with a big stick or if you have slim arms get your hand in. :y :y
Look here! :y
