Title: onboard computer

changing the on board computer,,97 gls
is it hard because looking at it..makes me think its going to be a pain.plus my reg plate light tried everything to get it working with no joy any ideas on that,

easy peasy to take the dash out, takes 5 mins, check the maintenance guides  :y

GLS doesn'y have onboard computer (MID), it has a TID.  Dead easy to change, as Tunnie says.  Ensure you replace with correct one :)

Damaged wires somewhere? Do you have 12v to the fitting?

have you checked fuses?

the info display shares a fuse with reg plate light
