i did but hadn't noticed the Euro NCAP test fro the omega below that link  http://www.euroncap.com/tests/opel_vauxhall_omega_1998/53.aspx

You need to take such results with a pinch of salt...

If you read the report its actualy pretty good rated at 4 stars (for most Omegas) and do consider that a 4 star luxury car level is a higher standard than a 4 star compact....
