-
does your ccrt700 have bose written on it?
and the speaker covers?
if so, there is an amp in the system as well, and speaker all run at 2 ohms, a lot of work to replace.
-
will a vauxhall cd player work in there then becoz the kind owner before me removed the disc changer from boot
-
if you have a bose system, then only a bose system will work unless you replace everything. :'(
-
cheers any chance u know where the leads r supposed to be for the disc changer :)
-
they should end in a cubby hole, drivers side corner by boot opening.
can I get you to avoid text speak as well please :y frowned upon here :y
-
sorry i ll try and i know i sound dull but wot do the leads looklike and how can i get my ccrt700 decoded thanks :y
-
Dave DND on here can sort you out with the code.
should be a power lead and a multiplug loitering behind the cubbyhole.
-
i think i found them is the power lead got like a brass finish on it and do you know what changers were in the cars originally :) thanks
-
think its a blaupunct cdc-2, but a specific one, there are several types of cdc2

Have you answered if it has Bose or not? Its quite important and will help us to help you!
The connector int the changer is actually a single one having 2 x 6 pins in a black moulded connector.
HTH ......... Rob

I`m making the assumption that if a CCRT700 was fitted, then yes, it would be BOSE ?
:-/
-
Only to Elite models, the non-Bose CCRT700 was also available on mini-facelift as an option

thanks but have nt got a handbook
Switch on ignition
Switch OFF the CCRT700 with the OI key
Press & hold AS key
Switch ON the CCRT700, keep the AS pressed until you hear a confirmation beep
The dosplay shows CODE for approx 3 secs
Then radio code: and the number of attempts appear eg ----(10)
Enter code number with the number keys
Confirm OK by pressing the multi-functional control (the big round dial)
