you can fit the CID (Colour Info Display) we have one, be prepared to pay big bucks for them, if you do get one, make sure its in delivery mode.

What price would you charge, I assume when you say delivery mode it cant be swopped from another Omega. Have you y idea what head unit is posibly fitted

CID is "paired" to the Nav/radio unit and MUST be "de-paired" correctly BEFORE removal. It can then be fitted to another car and "re-paired" ... this is known as the delivery mode as a new one comes in the un-paired state.
If it is disconnected without "de-pairing" I believe it is un-useable .... but Dave DND may well correct me.
pairing/de-pairing is done using a tech2 to "talk" to the unit

many thanks for the info very useful, do these CID come up for sale very often

The headunit will either be a NCDC 2013, or NCDC 2015. The 2013 is just sat nav, the 2015 comes with a phone aswell. It says on the headunit which one it is. Do you have any photo's of the car you're looking at? CID's do come up very infrequentley. However, there are always some on german ebay www.ebay.de

As already said www.ebay.de is your best bet..
Try this one 190349031864
I found one myself on the German ebay site, but be prepared to pay big bucks for one.. Especially as the euro/pound rate is not as good as it was last year.

Depairing a CID that has a known code can be done by post ;)
Depairing a CID that has an unknown code is untested. Theoreticaly it should work, but I have 2 shagged ones here that do remind us that its not 100% certain.

can you give me a price for depairing with a code please

To depair a screen, and place in delivery mode, is £30 (+return postage if doing by post) for OOFers, all assuming you know the code.
If you don't know the code, I am currently not prepared to decode displays.
