Please provide more detail of the age of your car and the seats.

Also the colour of the leather and whether memory ot not.

Actually, most of the info you need is in the Haynes manual as the wiring diagrams are very good - but use a magnifing glass!

Thanks

But what age car are the seats from?

If its just the additional multiway connector that sits on the top then all the info you need is in the maint section. I suspect that it is this as the new passenger seat works 100%.

Do the new seats have side airbags? If not then you have a problem!

When I put elite cloth seats in my CDX i found this link very useful indeed. http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1234703022

Also the no airbags will only be an issue if you original seats had airbags.

If your original seats had airbags the airbag warning light may be stuck on (I think)

Yours being a "T" reg would have had the side airbags. Fitting front seats without the same would invalidate your insurance if you were unfortunate enough to be T-boned. Secondly, your SRS system would be in a dormant state as the ECU would register a fault in the system and illuminate the dash airbag warning light. :'(

Now then, as it happens, I have quite a few spare seat bits and bobbs so may well be able to help you out with this.

Also, the pre-tensioners will be different and won't fit/work.

Update your details with your location as that's quite key to how easily you can get help with things like this.

Have you actually fitted the seats or are you about to? Its just that as soon as you put the ignition on you will get an airbag fault light sensing the lack or side airbags and the correct pre-tensioners. Once the light is on it stays on even after the original fault has cleared and disables ALL the airbags until reset.

So, just be very very careful. Help is available, but as I said, your location is key to how easy the job becomes,

You can fool the airbag ecu into thinking everything is ok by removing airbags from the circuit and replacing with an appropriate value resistor - airbag light will then extinguish and function as normal.
