I'm trying to pop out the climate control panel from the wood effect surround. I've taken the radio out and the screw out of the back. I've also removed two screws at the top of the wood surround including the heated seat switches. The wood surround now levers forward with the climate control panel. I tried to push the control panel out but its not moving. Is the climate control panel held in from the sides or something.
I've seen the guide in the mainatenance section but it doesn't quite tell you how to separate the climate control panel only.
Many thanks!

The wood trim has to come forward (virtually off) along with the black moulding behind. There are 4 metal clips (2 each end) of the CC panel that need pushing open slightly and the panel pops out of the back of the black part :y

Isnt there a locking bar that can only be reached when the radio cage has been removed? Or is that pre/minifacelift only?

That's pre/mini facelift only :y

Thanks for that. I can lever the wood trim forward and put my fingers behind the climate control panel from the top. So I take it I can gently move the side clips out gently and this will release the CC panel?
