It must be seven years since I had a new battery in my two button key fob. I took it to the local VX place in the Midlands and he did it there and then.
Recently the fob doesn't work unless you are very close to the door. Today I had to use the key to lock the door and of course the alarm went off when I opened it!
Is this just the battery low in the fob or bad contacts? If it is battery can you get them off Ebay or from a watch/jewellers type shop?
