Title: cd changer code

Hi, on the Omega i have just bought the cd changer had been taken out. i have the code for it with the paper work for the car, is the code for the head unit or changer. what i need to know is if i bought another cd changer will the code i have be ok or not  thx

Head unit has its own code

CD Changer has its own code

The codes will not be the same for both units.

ok thank you, in that case can the cd changer be recoded if i buy another one

Certainly can, but make sure you buy the EXACT model changer for your head unit as there can be many similar variants - watch out for the part numbers as well as the model number
