Title: remote central locking has failed

hi there ive had a problem with the key fob i locked the car before going to bed and in the morning the remote locking wouldnt work the red light comes on the key fob when i ts pressed but nothing opens any help would be great please because my alarm goes off if i use the key and thats not good at 5 oclock in the morning hahaha  ;D :'(

Once you have opened the car turn your key in the ignition but dont start the car this will stop the alarm then retry your remote key fob to re-synch with the engine immobiliser.It happened to me twice in the past and this solved it.I don't know what the problem was but it allowed me to drive the car.Hope that helps.
