So, nearside bulb looking very pink and going to replace both this weekend. Can someone confirm proceedure - 1. disconnect battery (ign on then off - remove neg' terminal within 15 secs. remove battery - 2. wait 15 minutes for ballast pack to discharge. 3. Replace bulbs - 4. reconnect battery Anything else I have missed?
Quite worried about the fatal shock statements on the bulb box - handbook etc... Sorry to sound a bit like an idiot, but still learning about these cars!

Make sure you have your car pass handy to reset the radio ??? and read the instructions on resetting radio/windows/sunroof BEFORE you do the job ... :)

Replace bulbs - 4. reconnect battery Anything else I have missed?

Just hold the window switch :-/ in the closed postion for a couple of seconds?

Yep, each switch in turn, when you hear a click, then it`s programmed

Well, 3 hours later both bulbs replaced, what a pig of a job! Found it easier to remove both headlights than fart about in the limited space behind them. Just out on interest what's the labour time to do this at Vx dealer?

Battery out, airbox out = enough room :)
