Title: ccr 2006 decode question for dave
Post by: johnnybbad on 31 January 2010, 11:45:05
Dave, need my ccr2006 decoding as my battery has been flat for a long time and dont have pass code.

Does the unit just need decoding ? Is there any other pairing issues i should be aware of ?

Thanks John

no pairing to worry about.

A carpass from delaer *may* have correct code on, if you are missing it, worth calling previous dealers who have serviced it, as they may have a record of the code.

If that fails, Dave DND can decode, and as said, no pairing to worry about :y

Also have no service history with car, so not sure where it came from

Yeah i was going to get car pass from local dealers but have read the stories about the code info not being correct :(, so i think its probably easier to get it decoded

Depends on whether you are ever going to need immobiliser code - if so, worth a punt on a carpass.

But certainly worth ringing dealers to see if they have on record (in which case they often will give you the codes for free). You should only pay if they have to order carpass from Vauxhall.

Problem is ive got no service history with the car, so unsure which dealers it came from
