Hi people, do any of you know what it means when i get........"dip beam fld/vis".... that comes up on my lcd display?
Does'nt seem to affect anything but havnt done a lot of night driving in the last week so dont know if its a problem?
It has the projector headlamps apparantly! :-?

You have HID's the adjuster arm has broken or has fallen off, also has some sensors which could be nackered iic nearside front wishbone??? Not sure someone else can confirm :y

Should have HID headlights on MV6, and certainly the MID is programmed for that. Error means the ECU has detected an error in the automatic headlight levelling, and has attempted to make them as low as possible.
As tunnie says, normally a arm that pops of the front sensor on the NSF wishbone.

You have three potential problems.
1. adjuster arm
2. sensor
3. level motor behind the headlight (nobody mentioned this one)
adjuster arm is the most probable cause and easy to inspect

Thanks guys, got it sorted now!
It was the arm on the n/s/f wishbone that had popped out......have put a very posh temporary repair on it because it popped again when i drove it....
a lovely gloss black cable tie holds it in place nicely now!! lol. ::)

Might be worth getting on the lookout for a good 2nd hand one, as it sounds like yours is going to be problematic from now on...

You can buy the link arm on its own but beware, the end of the arm on the sensor may break up when you try to get the old one off - mine did.
