Title: Another BOSE question
Post by: Andy H on 16 March 2010, 19:22:29
In order to fit an aftermarket headunit I have been advised that I should take the BOSE amp out of the equation by disconnecting a plug behind the drivers side kick panel and using a dummy plug to link the headunit ouputs to the door speaker loom.

Is this the plug? I assume that the BOSE plug is sitting on the front of the alarm/locking module.

Yep!

None Bose pre-facelift loom has the speaker connections looped back.

Should be some of those available from people who've upgraded. You won't need the autochanger flylead off the loom so it could be cut and insulated.
