Hi All
I spoke too soon about the old girl behaving herself the other day.
I went to use the auto closure feature today, and it didnt work!!! I can still close the windows and sunroof by turning the key anti-clockwise in the drivers door lock, but not by holding the remote button down.
The battery went flat several months ago, and I had to reset the one touch feature on the windows, but never checked the remore closure.
I've reset the windows again today, but still no joy.
Any help is much appreciated!

I think there is something in the handbook about this. I'm sure someone else will have the answer though before I can get my hands on it ;)

Hi, Ign on and press unlock on the remote.

I think the auto closure on the remote should behave the same as the auto closure using the key in the lock.
Have you tried putting a new battery in the key? Maybe it hasn't got enough life to keep transmitting continuously :-/

As I understand it the remote needs to be in sync with the car. If you have had flat battery it will need to be done again. 1 touch closure reset isnt the same as remote reset.

Agreed. I was assuming that the remote was still synchronised (ie car unlocks using the remote).

Mine never does the same thing twice when I have the battery out. Will sometimes lock but not deadlock with the remote, sometimes it will deadlock (think it depends on my mood at the time). May not be his problem, but I know its cured mine with regard the locks and/or windows.

Thanks for the replies guys, just to add to what you have kindly provided;
The battery is new in the remote and locks / deadlocks / unlocks from a good distance.
I'd re-synch'd the remote as per the handbook just in case.
It's all a bit of a mystery, but that's life! :D When I get 5 minutes I'll disconnect the battery for an hour or so and reset everything again to see if that helps.
In the mean time, if anyone else has some other solutions that would be great! :)
