Title: 2001 Omega 2.5 v6 audio unit cd not working.

Hi everyone. I'm a new member from today and was prompted to join due to a problem with my 3 in 1 audio unit. That's the radio/tape/cd lump in my v6 2.5 cdx, (2001). I couldn't find help anywhere relating to the fact that my cd player has given up the ghost. Can it be fixed or do I have to replace the complete unit when the other two mediums are ok?? If I have to replace the whole gubbins is there anyone out there in 'megaland with one to sell??

A model number of the stereo in question may give us an idea of what you are asking about

Unfortunately I suspect that (like my 2001 CDX) it is probably stuffed.

There's a thread on here somewhere on how to change it but I mine was jammed in there so solidly I gave up in case I wrecked the dash. Never listen to CDs anyway!
