Title: cdr500

just for info really.
I've a cdr500 cd player in the Astra shed, and was playing  ::) I've turned 'reg on'
What've actually I turned on, cos I can't see or hear owt different.
(pressed 1 & 3 and held)

Regional - I think it stops it retuning to other local stations in same network (eg, Heart - it will only stay on one you actually listen on)

Depends on requirements.  I think its only for that station/button, rather than a 'global' setting (but not got a cdr500 to test on)

I'll experiment then. Trouble is I only use 3 pre-sets .... Radio 2, Tower FM (very local radio) Real Radio (not quite very local radio)  ;D  ;D  ;D

The theory is that with REG ON it should only seek/search for local stations instead of the national ones - problem is that as many of the supposedly "local" stations are now broadcast nationwide, the button appears to have very little effect nowadays.

You get Real Radio in Bury? I thought it was Welsh  :-?

It used to be Century up until a few months ago. It's definitely not in Welsh ..... I can undersatnd it.  :y

Ah, well we've got a Real as well then. It ain't in Welsh, cos I wouldn't be able to understand that either  ;D ;D
