its an easy job to do if you feel confident i have uprated mine including ballest packs the difficult bit is takeing the headlight out without scratching the paint on the bumper

Dead easy mate - you don't need to take light units out, bulb comes out from back. You need to wait a short while once ignition/lights off before removing bulb.
-
pretty similar to replacing normal bulbs. Just ensure they are fully discharged

Wear "surgeons" latex gloves too.........don't touch the bulbs. A fingerprint on the bulb can make the bulb blow just for the oil on your finger!!
-
PUll the airbox out, remove / move the battery back...
you then have access to get at the torx securing screws.
funny clip to remove bulb.
as others said, make sure system fully dead, and do not touch the conductors on the leads or the bulbs

Thanks all for the great advice.....
