Title: electric seats wont raise or lower!!

Hi guy/gals

My problem is that the driver seat and passenger seat wont raise or lower, wouldn't be an issue however I'm guessing the previous owner was short as my head is on the roof lol so I'd quite like to sort it any clues?

No noise is heard when pressing the buttons so no power i'm guessing is getting to the motors, I'm hoping it's just a fuse but i wanted to see if this is a common fault?

Sounds like the car is new to you, I'd check all the fuses as you also have another post that could be fuse related.

Great link! I hadn't found this before and my new miggy has a dicky height adjust on the passenger seat. Got my homework for tonight

Never had the problem..but just in case etc. Is it common and what causes it to blow? Is it weight related or just one of those things?

dose say not to move around when doing the seat, as can ware out the runners and motor.

Well I dunno it was like it when I got the car so maybe the last guy/gal was a bit heavy but it's still working and been about two or three weeks so fingers crossed. If it blows again I'm only 13 stone so I'll be insulted haha  :P
